Andrew Kalista
Andrew Kalista enters his 14th season covering the Nittany Lions. Born into a Penn State family, Andrew naturally attended Syracuse University. After starting his local television career in Virginia Andrew made his way back to Pennsylvania and State College, producing and reporting for the Blue White Tailgate Show with Steve Jones & Trey Bauer. Andrew was instrumental in creating the segment "In the Film Room" which started Jay Paterno’s journey into local television.
Alongside former WJAC Sports Anchor Mike Tressa, Kalista also helped create the first Penn State Hockey show "The Blue Line: Inside Penn State Hockey". From there Andrew moved to FOX43 as a weekend sports anchor. He was the Penn State beat reporter, staying in-tune with the Lions and covering news across the Big Ten. He also served as an iceside reporter for the Hershey Bears, AHL affiliate of the Washington Captials.
Kalista enjoys talking about all Penn State sports from the champions of the volleyball court in Rec Hall to the fast paced action of ice hockey at Pegula.
